This page sets out the limits of what TechSMK publishes. It is short and specific, because a disclaimer that covers everything covers nothing.
General information only
Everything on techsmk.com is published for general information and education. It is not professional advice, and it is not tailored to your situation, your account, your organisation or your data. You are responsible for deciding whether anything here applies to you.
AI tools change faster than articles do
This is the disclaimer that matters most on a site like this one. The AI products we write about ship changes weekly. A menu moves, a free tier is halved, a model is retired, an export format changes. Every article carries a publication or update date; treat that date as the point at which the steps were true, not as a promise about today.
Before you act on any pricing, quota, limit or feature claim here, confirm it against the vendor’s own documentation. We link to it for exactly that reason.
No warranty
Content is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
You act at your own risk
Following a guide here — changing a setting, installing software, exporting or deleting data, cancelling a subscription, running a script — is your decision and your responsibility. Back up anything you care about first. We are not liable for data loss, lost access, unexpected charges, device or account problems, or any other loss arising from acting on our content.
Not professional advice
- Not legal advice. Articles that touch on terms of service, licensing, copyright or AI regulation are commentary, not legal opinion. Consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
- Not financial or business advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to spend money, subscribe to a tool, or build a business on one. Pricing changes and tools shut down.
- Not security advice for high-risk situations. Guides about passwords, private chats or data exports describe how a consumer feature works. They are not a threat model for anyone who needs one.
Third-party products and trademarks
We write about tools built by other companies — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Sora and Janitor AI among others. TechSMK is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any of them. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification and commentary. Screenshots of third-party interfaces are reproduced for the purpose of illustration and review.
External links
We link out to documentation, vendors and other publications. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Advertising and independence
TechSMK is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not run affiliate links, sponsored posts, paid reviews or paid placements, and no advertiser sees an article before it publishes. If that ever changes, the arrangement will be disclosed clearly on the affected page before you read a word of it. Ads are served by a third party and their appearance next to an article is not an endorsement of the advertiser by us, or of us by the advertiser.
Use of AI in producing this site
We are open about this because we write about AI. Language models are used here as a drafting and editing aid — outlining, tightening sentences, checking grammar. They are not used to generate finished articles, to invent test results, or to fabricate personal experience. Every claim, instruction and recommendation is reviewed and verified by a human before publication. See our Editorial Policy for the full standard.
Errors and corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it rather than defend it. Email techsmkofficial0@gmail.com with the article and the problem. Substantive corrections are made and noted on the article with the date.
